About This Product

■Characteristics of R-25 type

Orimae is of the Kamitsumaki style. There is more space inside than the lower roll type, and you can easily operate the stepping tree. It has depth and the warp threads can be stretched for a long time, making it possible to weave with strong warp tension. Standard heddles are up to 6 healds, and it is also possible to create somewhat complex structures. If you add stepping stones from the standard 6 to 8 when ordering, you can make up to 8 healds. The finish is carefully polished with 1000-grit paper, and the thread path is made of cherry wood. The cherry wood of the partition is finished using our unique process so as not to put stress on the warp threads. We do not use plywood or anything like that, and each one is made to order using traditional materials. It is made to be durable and unbreakable even after many years of use.

■Supports Tsumaki removal

Orimae tsumaki can be removed. By removing the tsumaki, you can easily perform tasks such as threading the reed or threading the heddles with the chair inside the loom, or tie-up work between the heddles and stepping stones.

■You can change the depth by rearranging the length.

The depth of the R25 type can be shortened by recombination. You can rearrange and change it depending on the purpose, such as if you want to make it smaller because the place you put it changes, or if you want to shorten the depth as much as possible because it is made of warp kasuri.

■Assembling the loom

A transparent number sticker is attached to the loom. It is safe to assemble for the first time. Also includes assembly instructions and assembly tools.

■Improvements to the R-25 type

The [old model] H-25 model has been significantly improved from the [new model] R-25 model. Please see below for the main changes.

■Improvement of gear

The gear and gear receiver are new. The gear receiver is compactly stored under the gear. Driving in the hammer and working with a shuttle are easier than before. The density of the gear teeth is also finer, allowing for finer adjustment of tension.

■The effective width of driving and healds has been expanded.

By redesigning all parts and paying attention to the details, we have created a loom that uses less space. Therefore, the depth dimension is almost the same as the conventional H25 type, and the effective width of the weaving and heddles has been significantly increased. Flower weaving and multiple heddles are easier to tie up, and the width of the weave is further expanded.

■A more robust loom

I connected the top of the stepping wood support to the base. The vertical and horizontal vibrations of the loom are further reduced, making it as sturdy as a large loom.
