About This Product

■Summary

R5449 is a protection IC for 1-cell Li-ion/Li-polymer secondary batteries that can detect overcharge, overdischarge, charge/discharge overcurrent, and temperature. An external high-side Nch MOSFET can be operated, overcharging and overcurrent can be detected with high precision, and charging prohibition of 0V batteries can be detected with high precision. Furthermore, the current consumption after overdischarge detection can be minimized by stopping the internal circuit. You can force the device to standby by using the CTL pin.
