About This Product

■What is Tycast?

This is another technological innovation for printing presses that Techno Roll proposes with the aim of reducing total costs. This has made it possible to shorten preparation time, improve quality, stabilize quality, simplify work, improve yield, and reduce consumables costs. It consists of nine types of technical elements. (As of April 2007) You can choose from 9 types of technical elements according to your situation and purpose.

■Tycast's 10 types of technical elements

・Tycast ink fountain (ink fountain with roller automatic cleaning) ・QRD system (quick response ductor) (double-acting cylinder type split call roller type ink amount adjustment device) ・Newark (high-speed ink roller cleaning equipment) ・Air knife (ink overemulsification prevention device) ・Hickey Sweeper (maintenance-free plate surface dust removal roller) ・Self swinger (self-driven swinging roller) ・Airac Micro (cleaning solvent recycling device) ・Data barcode management ・Quick Eye (print area ratio reading device) Functions and effects of Tycas. Each of the nine types of devices used in Tycast provides the following functions.

■Reducing preparation time and making work easier

- Automatically cleans the ink fountain within 3 minutes (Tycast ink fountain) ・Cleans all rollers including fountain rollers in 3 minutes (Newark system) ・Set up the next version data during cleaning (barcode management system) - Eliminates the need for water adjustment (air knife system)

■Improvement and stability of quality

・Ink amount adjustment is done using a divided call roller with excellent accuracy and reproducibility (QRD system) ・Defects caused by hickeys and ghosts are significantly reduced (Hickey Sweeper, Self Swinger) - Eliminates the need for water adjustment and eliminates overemulsification stains (air knife system)

■Improvement of yield

・Only 4 sheets of paper are wasted during printing due to the ink supply method based on a new theory (QRD system) ・Unnecessary problems caused by Hickey and Ghost are greatly reduced (Hickey Sweeper, Self Swinger) - Eliminates the need for water adjustment and eliminates overemulsification stains (air knife system)

■Reducing consumables costs and protecting the environment

・The amount of cleaning solvent used is 1/2 of the conventional amount (Newark system) ・Cleaning solvent waste is easily recycled, minimizing industrial waste (Ilac Micro)
