■RID Rotor Interference Detection
Rotor Interference Detection (RID) systems are designed to detect contact between the rotor and the housing. In the unlikely event that a foreign object gets mixed into the conveyed object and gets stuck in the rotor, an alarm can be issued.
It is especially effective for processes that require sanitary properties. It will also notify you if the rotor is touching the housing due to bearing failure, incorrect assembly, material expansion due to high temperatures, etc.
