About This Product
The newly developed iron piece detection system PROBE is a high-performance system that can be installed on production lines for products and materials such as film, paper, non-woven fabrics, insulation materials, sanitary materials, construction materials, etc., and can detect minute iron pieces mixed into products.
On product production lines, mechanical parts, etc. may fall off due to wear or damage and get mixed into the product. Products with iron pieces mixed in may damage machines and rollers in subsequent processes, and products using them may It may affect reliability and must be detected and removed.
Conventional shingle detectors are designed to be used at speeds of 10m to 200m/min, and various industries have desired the development of a shingle detection system for high-speed lines that can respond to speeds of 1,000m/min. However, it was difficult to commercialize the iron piece detector for high-speed lines because it required solving several issues such as dealing with machine vibration, dealing with environmental noise, dealing with heat, etc. M&E technology solved these issues and commercialized it.
The iron piece detector for high-speed lines consists of a main body (PROBE MH-10) and a high-performance sensor (MS-1K). m&E Technology has focused on this and has developed a new system that can detect 0.5φ per minute at 1,000m. The main unit and sensor are connected with a dedicated cable. Equipped with the newly developed M1000 high-speed amplifier, settings are configured using the touch panel. Dedicated cables can be manufactured up to 10M.
PROBE displays signal level settings etc. on the LED bar graph on the front panel. Line LED is in normal state: Green When detected: Notifies the operator in red. The operation buttons are touch panel type, taking into consideration the usage environment. On the back side, there are non-voltage input/output terminals for startup output, detection output, and reset input. A LAN port is also available as an option.
