About This Product

Line-Lock/Free-Run support. 6x10-bit multi-standard 3D comb filter video decoder. Supports SCART and RGB mixing. Techwell's TW9919 is a high quality NTSC/PAL/SECAM video decoder designed for multimedia applications. It uses mixed-signal 2.5V/3.3VCMOS technology to provide a complete low-power solution. The TW9919's analog front end features six independent analog channels that can receive standard video inputs such as composite video, S-video, component video (YCbCr), and SCART RGB. Analog FB support also allows mixing of S-video inputs along with composite or YCbCr/RGB inputs. The inclusion of an analog multiplexer (MUX) on every channel allows great flexibility in software-controlled input selection. Up to 5 composite inputs or 2 S-Video inputs or 2 YCbCr inputs or 2 SCART RGB inputs can be connected simultaneously and can be switched via software. Conversely, it is also possible to have up to five combinations of these inputs under software control. PIP mode allows up to 4 composite/S-video input combinations to be mixed with any of the 2 YCbCr/RGB via external FB control. Placing all necessary circuitry on the front end simplifies system design. Six built-in high-quality 10-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) convert the input signal to a digital signal suitable for processing.
