About This Product

The older products, Thumb Steel Checker (Model M-100, Model D-100), have been evaluated by the Japan Building Center's Inspection Equipment Performance Evaluation Committee, and this product complies with that. (Evaluation number: BCJ-59-Inspection machine 1)

■3 major features of Thumbsteel Checker

・Can be measured non-destructively ·portable ・No skill required (one measurement takes approximately 5 seconds)

■Thumb steel checker is used in the following situations.

・When you want to confirm the match between the mill sheet and the actual steel material ・When you want to confirm that the cut steel material, etc. is the same material as before cutting. ・When you want to sort steel materials of different materials ・When you want to estimate the material of steel whose material is unknown

■The following precautions must be taken when making measurements.

・Remove black scale and rust on the surface of steel materials. ・Wipe off any water on the measurement point. - Measure when no alternating current is flowing through the steel material. ・Measure when the steel temperature is between 5℃ and 35℃. - Take the average value of the values ​​measured three or more times at the same location. ・The thickness of the steel material at the measurement point must be 2 mm or more. - Avoid areas that have been rapidly heated or cooled as measurement points. - Handle the probe carefully to avoid breaking the sensor needle.
