■Features

・This is a stiffening type water pipe bridge in which a π-shaped or T-shaped stiffening girder is welded to the upper or lower part of the water pipe to increase the cross-sectional rigidity of the water pipe. -Flange stiffening can be roughly divided into two types: upper stiffening type (stiffening girder is welded to the top of the steel pipe) and lower stiffening type (stiffening girder is welded to the bottom of the steel pipe). ・It depends on the span and diameter, but it is more economical than truss stiffening or arch stiffening even if the steel is somewhat heavy.
