About This Product

Chemical satin finish agent. Creates a pearl-like, fine-grained, glossy satin finish. This is an acidic etching agent based on acidic ammonium fluoride.

■Features・ Creates a uniform, fine-grained semi-gloss satin finish.
- Compared to conventional products, roll marks are less likely to appear.
・The reaction is mild and there is little reaction heat.
- The amount of aluminum melted is small, making it ideal for matting optical parts and precision equipment.
・The liquid life is long because dissolved aluminum does not easily increase.

■PropertiesA slightly acidic white powder. It dissolves easily in hot water, but please stir well before use.

■How to use・The bath will be built in a chemical satin tank (acid-resistant resin lining).
・Please avoid heating over direct flame. For heating, please use a Teflon coated heater or carbon heater.
・SUS and glass corrode. Please do not use it.

■Management method・Perform a liquid analysis and replenish Satin R. Approximately 100g will be refilled for approximately 1.25m2 of processing.
・Although it can be used normally from the initial stage of bath construction, there is also a method of intentionally dissolving the aluminum or adding an aging solution as a way of acclimating the bath.
・Compared to conventional products, there is less sediment, but please remove it. If the fluid has aged, please renew the partial fluid.
