About This Product

■All models with non-magnetic stylus Repeatability ±0.5μm (when standard stylus is installed)

Ultra-high precision probe for on-machine and in-machine measurements of machining centers. Measuring reference position, inner diameter/outer diameter, centering, angle, groove width, height, etc. can all be done with this one device. Point finder requires no interface or installation work.

■Select the point finder series depending on the work to be measured (you can choose from the types below)

・External contact point finder: Measures electrically conductive workpieces Metals, non-ferrous metals (copper, copper alloys, brass, aluminum) ・Internal contact type point finder: Measures non-conductive workpieces Non-metallic (wood, plastic, etc.), anodized aluminum ・Lathe point finder L: NC lathe, deep hole measurement inside turning machine ・If the object to be measured is metal or non-ferrous metal, use the ``external contact method.'' If the object is a non-metal such as wood or plastic, use the ``internal contact method.''

■Point finder (external contact type) Advantages

・Inexpensive and highly accurate measurement possible ・Long styli from φ1 to φ6 can also be selected. - Guaranteed repeatability of ±1μm even with an 80mm stylus

■Point finder (external contact type) Disadvantages

・It cannot measure objects that do not conduct electricity, such as wood, plastic, rusted metal, and anodized aluminum. - Ceramic spindle requires magnet cable

■Point finder i (internal contact type) Advantages

Can measure any material such as wood, plastic, non-metals, etc.

■Point finder i (internal contact type) Disadvantages

・A “rice ball” error occurs. - Lag occurs due to stylus deflection. ・More expensive than external contact method

■Features of point finder series

・With a high-precision touch sensor, you can measure reference position, inner diameter/outer diameter, centering, angle, groove width, height, etc. with one unit. ・The stylus swings in X, Y, and Z directions for safety. -LEDs emit light in 4 directions and can be seen from any direction. ・With a buzzer (PTC), the LED emits light in 3 directions and also provides sound notifications, so you can double check. - All models come with a non-magnetic stylus, so they are not affected by magnetic force.
