About This Product

■PV Next next generation junction box

Compatible with residential and industrial solar power systems - easy, fast and safe wiring. With PV Next, Weidmüller offers the world's first junction box concept based on a standardized printed circuit board design. This concept is not only more robust, but also reduces the use of materials such as copper and plastic by 25%. At the same time, the geometry makes installation easy, fast, and safe. Integrated PUSH IN technology reduces installation time, minimizes the risk of errors and their consequences, and more.

■PV solar string monitoring system (PV Solar SMS)

The PV Solar String Monitoring System is a new device developed to monitor current and voltage at the string level within the generator terminal box. This new device can monitor up to 32 strings and measure up to 50A per string. It can be powered directly from the solar array while providing reliable information and data. In order to respond flexibly to customer requirements, the Solar String Monitoring System (Solar SMS) has been developed as a modular system.

■The configuration is as follows.

・The master module contains the power/voltage supply and communication infrastructure (RS-485) and coordinates data collection from the sensors. - Slave module that uses Hall effect sensors to collect current data. These modules can be equipped with 8 or 12 sensors of 25A and 50A respectively.
