The flexible Klippon® Protect enclosure system is the perfect addition to our Klippon® Connect modular terminal block range. Take advantage of our enclosures, which are optimized for your requirements and offer superior protection. With Klippon® protection, you can choose from a wide range of universal and application-specific enclosures. The enclosure is subject to all relevant approvals required for industrial applications and use in explosive hazardous areas.

■Aluminum enclosure

The aluminum Klippon®K enclosure is suitable for a very wide range of applications. A wide variety of components can be installed inside the enclosure, which especially benefits from high temperature resistance, good IP protection, and good impact resistance. No matter what application you have planned, Weidmüller can offer a wide range of aluminum enclosures to suit your exact requirements. Klippon®K hazardous location enclosures are available upon request.

■Our wide product range has the following advantages:

・The following two surface finishes are available. Natural and powder coated finish (RAL7001) - Chloroprene molded seal is standard equipment (silicone molded seal is available as an option) ・Standard closure system with slotted screw head compatible with 19 enclosure sizes ・Mounting holes outside the gasket area - High IP protection class: IP66, IP67 and IP68 according to DIN EN 60529 ・Shock resistance up to 7 (10) Joules ・Enclosure certification according to ATEX, IECEx, cULus, DNV GL, and empty enclosure standards. - Suitable for railway applications according to EN 45545-2:2013 ・Resistance to salt water due to alloy Standard power distribution enclosure with threaded perforations and various terminal configurations
