About This Product

■Glass pearls are very fine grains of 0.6mm to 0.8mm. Made into an infinitely spherical shape, it is possible to form a high-density homogeneous filter medium layer that can remove dirt up to 3 microns, and continues to remove dirt.Highly clean: Unlike other filter media that contain various contaminants, Waterco's glass pearls are chemically inert and clean. In fact, GlassPearl has conducted its own contaminant leaching experiments and found it to be within Australian drinking water guidelines.
Its high cleanliness significantly reduces the number of backwashes before operating the filter and allows for a quick start-up of the filter.
