About This Product

■Summary

ARCoptix' liquid crystal radial polarization converter is a new polarization element that can create radial or azimuth polarization when linearly polarized light is input. Conventional axisymmetric optical elements use a wave plate divided into several segments, so the polarization axis changes in a stepwise manner. However, liquid crystal converters can create axisymmetric polarized beams with continuously changing polarization axes. The product can be used over a wide wavelength range from 350 to 1,700 nm, and uses a dedicated driver and software to adjust the compensator and TN cell inside the converter to create an optimal axisymmetric beam. Additionally, ARCoptix also offers liquid crystal polarizing spiral plates that can similarly generate axially symmetric polarized light.
