About This Product

■Summary

Astropribor's waveplates are true zero-order ultra-broadband waveplates (super achromatic waveplates) made of laminated polymer films. The basic principle of this laminated wave plate was proposed by Pancharatnam, and it can be used over a wider wavelength range compared to ordinary Quartz - MgF2 broadband wave plates, and is known for its small change in temperature. Masu. Atropribor manufactures a broader wave plate based on Pancharatnam's design. Additionally, compared to general film-type wave plates, it achieves a lower beam divergence angle and phase difference accuracy. Because it is a PMMA-based wave plate, large-area elements (60 mm diameter) can be fabricated, and it is used in the astronomical field where precision and size are required. Furthermore, it is suitable not only for polarization control of multi-wavelength light sources by taking advantage of its broadband performance, but also for polarization analysis applications such as polarimetry and ellipsometry, and for use in locations where the environmental temperature is unstable. Please choose from APAW, APSAW-5, and APSAW-7 according to your wavelength characteristics. We also support custom-made wave plates with phase differences up to λ/2.
