About This Product

■Summary

The 990-0076 series is an attenuator using a polarizing beam splitter cube for beam diameters up to 10 mm. The 990-0077 and 990-0078 series are attenuators that use thin film polarizers, and are compatible with wavelengths from UV (257 nm, 266 nm) to 1,064 nm, and beam diameters of 17 mm and 22 mm.

■990-0076 series

It incorporates a high-performance polarizing cube beam splitter that reflects S-polarized light at 90° and transmits P-polarized light. A rotatable λ/2 wave plate is placed within the incident polarized laser beam. The intensity ratio of the two output beams can be varied continuously by rotating the half-wave plate without changing other beam parameters. The intensity or intensity ratio of the output beam can also be controlled over a wide dynamic range. It is also possible to select only p-polarized light to maximize transmission, and only s-polarized light to maximize reflection.
