About This Product

■Summary

A long-life bandpass filter that is highly resistant to optical damage and environmental degradation. It is possible to transmit only the wavelength band before and after a specific wavelength, and block the other wavelength ranges. It offers high performance and low price with high transmittance (>85%) and OD value (5). It can be attached to filter cubes from most microscope manufacturers, so it can also be used for microscope applications.

■About Iridian filters

Conventional filters are produced by bonding multiple glass substrates and coatings together using electron beam evaporation. Iridian's filters are formed and manufactured by sputtering deposition on a single glass substrate. This has significantly improved durability, which was a problem with conventional filters, and the deterioration of optical properties due to the passage of time and the surrounding environment. It also has many excellent features such as high transmittance, high blocking performance, and excellent edge steepness.
