About This Product

■Summary

A notch filter blocks only a narrow band of wavelengths around a specific wavelength, allowing other wavelengths to pass through for spectrum separation. Raman spectroscopy allows the simultaneous detection of Stokes Raman scattered light (longer wavelength than the laser) and anti-Stokes Raman scattered light (shorter wavelength than the laser).

■About Iridian filters

Conventional filters are produced by bonding multiple glass substrates and coatings together using electron beam evaporation. Iridian's filters are formed and manufactured by sputtering deposition on a single glass substrate. This has significantly improved durability, which was a problem with conventional filters, and the deterioration of optical properties due to the passage of time and the surrounding environment. It also has many excellent features such as high transmittance, high blocking performance, and excellent edge steepness.
