About This Product

■Summary

Laser line filters are capable of transmitting only a narrow band in the immediate vicinity of a specific laser wavelength, and blocking the rest of the wavelength range. Gas lasers emit plasma rays in addition to the main oscillation wavelength, which can be an obstacle when performing spectroscopic measurements. At this time, only the laser oscillation line can be used, increasing the purity of the laser.

■About Iridian filters

Conventional filters are produced by bonding multiple glass substrates and coatings together using electron beam evaporation. Iridian's filters are formed and manufactured by sputtering deposition on a single glass substrate. This has significantly improved durability, which was a problem with conventional filters, and the deterioration of optical properties due to the passage of time and the surrounding environment. It also has many excellent features such as high transmittance, high blocking performance, and excellent edge steepness.
