About This Product

■Product overview

The SR542 optical chopper is a device for pulsing a continuous light source. Can be pulsed in the frequency range from 0.4 Hz to 20 kHz. Five types of slot blades are included as standard: 2 holes, 5/6 holes, 25/30 holes, 10/100 holes, and variable blades (10 to 90%), which can be used according to the frequency. The chopping frequency and phase can be synchronized to a variety of input sources, including an external synchronization signal (TTL or Sin), internal clock, VCO (0 to +10V) input, or line frequency. You can output a synchronization signal to the outside from the external sink output to a lock-in amplifier, etc. The chopper head uses a brushless motor to minimize mechanical vibrations. Comes with a removable blade case to ensure safety during experiments.
