■XS1 X-ray source sample chamber option is now availableThe XS1 X-ray source sample chamber option can be used in conjunction with an Edinburgh Instruments fluorescence spectrophotometer (FLS1000, FS5). An X-ray source capable of CW and pulse oscillation is mounted inside the sample chamber. A solution, substrate, or powder sample is excited with X-rays, and the ultraviolet/visible/near-infrared emission is transmitted to a fluorescence spectrophotometer using a liquid light guide fiber.
