Upgrade your existing camera to a camera with an ultra-high sensitivity nanosecond shutter, which can also be attached to a microscope. Image intensifier unit Cricket2 Product overview

■Turn your handheld camera into a camera with high sensitivity and high-speed shutter

The image intensifier unit "Cricket2" is a high-speed image intensifier tube that can be attached to existing C-mount cameras. A very short instantaneous image of nanoseconds is captured using a high-speed electronic shutter and signal amplification function and transmitted to the subsequent camera. Cricket2 is an effective method when you cannot capture an instantaneous image with your camera because the shutter time is too long or it is too dark.

■Can also be attached to a microscope

Since the connection is C-mount, it can be easily attached to a microscope.

■New image intensifier with high sensitivity and low noise

The image intensifier unit "Cricket2" is a high-speed image intensifier tube that can be attached to existing C-mount cameras. Cricket2 is equipped with a newly developed highly sensitive photocathode. You can also choose the photocathode according to the wavelength range you want to measure. Noise is also low, and dark current is suppressed to less than 1/10th of that of conventional products.

■Single photon counting

For photon counting, there is also a model with two stages of microchannel plates (MCP). Normally, MCP is used with one stage, but by using two stages, the amplification function increases to each stage.

■Easy to attach and remove, allowing you to use different cameras

The camera lens is compatible with C mount or F mount, and the camera is compatible with C mount, making it easy to attach and remove. As a result, even if you want to use several cameras depending on the phenomenon, you can switch between C-mount cameras. This is the perfect tool for using various cameras as high-sensitivity, high-speed shutter cameras while keeping your budget in check.
