■Product overview | Visible SPAD single photon detector

The visible range SPAD single photon detector (PDM) manufactured by MICRO PHOTON DEVICES (MPD) is a weak light detector with high sensitivity and low jitter performance in the visible light range. The photodetection element uses a SPAD sensor made of silicon material. The light receiving area can be selected from φ20μm, φ50μm, and φ100μm. The quantum efficiency is 49% or higher near 550 nm, allowing for high-sensitivity measurements with a good S/N ratio. It also has low jitter performance of less than 50 ps, ​​and can support picosecond time-resolved measurements when combined with a time-correlated single photon counting module. Features
