About This Product

■X-ray source, UV light source for photoelectron spectroscopy Product overview

This is an X-ray source and UV light source for photoelectron spectroscopy manufactured by SPECS in Germany. The twin anode X-ray source is a highly stable light source with high brightness and low crosstalk, and the anode can be selected from standard Mg and Al, as well as Ag and Zr. In combination with the microfocus X-ray source, which is an X-ray monochromator with a Roland circle of 500 mm, it can be used as a monochromatic light source for spot irradiation. The UV light source is designed with high brightness and a spread angle of ±1° or less, and the HeI/HeII ratio can be adjusted. A linear polarizer option for VUV is also available. The UV light source can also be combined with a dedicated monochromator. We also have a lineup of filamentless UV light sources based on microwave plasma, which can also be used with multi-wavelength gases such as He, Ar, Xe, H, and Ne.
