About This Product

■High performance laser line tunable filter overview

Photon etc's LLTF CONTRAST™ is a narrow wavelength tunable bandpass filter using a volume transmission grating (Volume Bragg Grating, VBG). With a high damage threshold, it is ideal for wavelength selection of supercontinuum light sources and ASE light removal of Ti:sapphire lasers.

■Features

・Band width variable from 0.15 to 5 nm ・Transmission wavelength range 400nm to 2.3μm ・Peak transmittance approximately 60% ・Low stray light ・Excellent wavelength purity

■Excellent wavelength purity

A diagram showing the out-of-band rejection characteristics of the volume holographic grating at c=632 nm. The 45 nm band is shown, and an out-of-band rejection rate of -60 dB is obtained.

■Fiber adapter (for input/output)

This is an adapter for inputting light from a fiber to LLTF or outputting light from LLTF to a fiber. Fine adjustments can be made using the XYZ axis adjustment mechanism.

■Adjustment kit

A tool for quickly and easily aligning the laser beam to the LLTF without using a fiber. Two irises accurately determine the laser incidence angle and axis. The iris is removable along with the post.

■Harmonic filter

This is a filter for cutting secondary light within LLTF. For example, when outputting light in the 800 to 1,000 nm range from LLTF, a harmonic filter is used to cut the secondary light component in the 400 to 500 nm range. ・For VIS 400-500nm ・For SWIR 500-850nm and/or 850-1,250nm ・For EXT-IV 400~500nm and/or 500~850nm and/or 850~1,150nm
