About This Product

■High repetition rate vacuum ultraviolet laser Hyperion VUV Overview

Hyperion VUV is the industry's first vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) femtosecond laser source, capable of characterizing solid-state materials and molecules on ultrafast time scales. The photon energy can be selected between 6.0 and 10.8 eV, making it widely applicable to solid state physics research. For example, this wavelength selectivity enables separate observation of surface and bulk states in ARPES experiments. In addition, in combination with time-of-flight spectroscopy, it is possible to distinguish between molecular isomers. Hyperion VUV has high beam steering and light focusing properties. Furthermore, by using an optical window between the light source and the experimental chamber, light can be introduced into experimental equipment that requires ultra-high vacuum without contaminating the vacuum. Y-Fi VUV is a vacuum ultraviolet laser that combines the high-order harmonic generation technology cultivated by KM lab and Y-Fi-HP. The unique specs of variable photon energy and high repetition rate (1 MHz) make it an ideal light source for photoionization mass spectrometry (PIMS) and time-resolved ARPES. It is also the perfect light source to combine with the photoelectronic analyzer manufactured by SPECS, a German company that we handle.
