About This Product

■Product overview

OPCP*, developed at Vilnius University, offers higher average power, better temporal contrast and bandwidth than traditional femtosecond titanium sapphire. This laser was delivered to the high-intensity laser facility "ELI-ALPS" in Hungary in 2019. It outputs a repetition frequency of 1kHz, a peak output of over 5TW, an average output of 35W, and a CEP stabilized pulse width of 6.6fs. The new laser system SYLOS3 achieves unique parameters previously unattainable with commercially available equipment: peak power of 15 TW, repetition rate of 1 KHz, and pulse width of 8 femtoseconds. Compared to the SYLOS2A system delivered in 2019 and installed at ELI-ALPS, it is able to achieve more than three times the peak and average power. This system can be used for various purposes such as coherent X-ray generation by high-order harmonic generation and electron acceleration.

Short for optical parametric chirped pulse amplification, it provides higher output power than traditional Ti:sapphire, superior temporal contrast, and wide bandwidth.
