About This Product

■Product overview

EKSPLA's pico-optical parametric generator (OPG) is pumped with a picosecond YAG laser and can oscillate in a wide wavelength range from ultraviolet (193nm) to infrared (16μm) with stable output. The PGx01 series is a near-Fourier transform limit narrow linewidth type, and the PGx11 series is an ultra-narrow linewidth type. All models are compact and can be controlled using a PC or control pad. The double harmonic generator (SHG) option or the difference frequency generator (DFG) option is integrated with the main unit, and wavelength switching can be performed automatically using electricity. It consists of OPG (Optical Parametric Generator), SLNS (Narrow Linewidth System), OPA (Optical Parametric Amplifier) and electrical control unit. One LBO crystal performs both OPG/OPA. The pulses generated from the OPG are reduced to a linewidth of less than 6cm-1 using a diffraction grating in the SLNS. The narrow linewidth pulse seeds the OPA, the output is amplified, and the signal light and idler light are separated by F (wavelength separation filter) and output. In this way, high conversion efficiency and excellent beam profile are obtained.

■Features

・Wide wavelength tuning range: 420nm to 2.3μm ・DUV option: 193nm ~ 209.95nm ・SHG option: 210nm ~ 340nm ・DFG option: 2.3μm to 16μm ・Pulse energy (visible light range) ・Maximum 1mJ or more (PGx01 series) ・Maximum 0.7 mJ or more (PGx11 series) ・Line width ・<6cm-1 (PGx01 series) ・< 2cm-1 or < 1cm-1 (PGx11 series) ・Can be controlled from PC or control pad (LabVIEW driver included) ・Compact size ・High output, narrow line width ・Peak output of 50MW or more

■Applications

・Nonlinear spectroscopy SFG, SHG, CARS ・Pump probe ・Fluorescence spectroscopy

■SHG options

Oscillation is possible from a wavelength of 210nm. The excellent beam quality of PG401 results in a high conversion efficiency of 15%. A motor-driven mirror switches between OPG output and SHG output. The second harmonic generator uses two BBO crystals.
