About This Product

■Product overview

EKSPLA's PL2250 series picosecond Nd:YAG lasers output pulse widths less than 30 ps with energies up to 100 mJ. The robust and compact design makes it ideal for a variety of research applications. The oscillator is a diode-pumped solid-state laser housed in a rigid, sealed monolithic aluminum alloy block. The regenerative amplifier is also pumped by a semiconductor laser and has excellent long-term stability. The PL2251 also has an amplification stage for lamp excitation and outputs up to 100mJ. The built-in energy monitor constantly monitors the output pulse energy and can be checked using the control pad or software. It also has a pre-trigger option that is ideal for streak cameras, allowing a low-jitter (<10ps) synchronization pulse to be output up to 1,000 µs before the optical pulse. Pre-trigger delay time is adjustable in 0.25ns steps.
