About This Product

■Product overview

PhotoSonus M is a nanosecond tunable light source with integrated excitation light source optimized for photoacoustic imaging applications. This laser features high pulse energy (up to 180mJ) and wide wavelength tuning range (330-2,300nm). PhotoSonus M+ is capable of outputting even higher pulse energies (up to 250mJ) for even greater imaging depth and resolution. The laser head, cooling unit, and power supply are mounted on a robust mobile cart for high mobility, ease of use, and low maintenance costs. Laser power can be combined with almost any type of fiber bundle. Hands-free operation using a PC via USB is also possible. We also accept customization according to your requests. All are motor-driven and PC-controlled, allowing for high-speed wavelength sweep and trigger input/output operations. Options such as variable energy using an attenuator, internal energy meter, and electromechanical shutter are also available.

■New release

A tabletop model, the PhotoSonus-T series, has also been released. It has the same performance as PhotoSonus-M and outputs spatial light. Bundled fiber output is also available as an option. It is an ideal light source for experiment and research purposes.
