About This Product

■Summary

Oil mist inside the ship is said to be the main cause of most ship fires. Inside the closed area, there is a heat source equivalent to 200 degrees Celsius, and if the oil mist concentration in that area exceeds 50mg/Liter, the probability of an explosion or fire is extremely high. This device consists of a highly sensitive, fast-response oil mist sensor and a digital oil mist monitor unit with functions such as mist concentration measurement, alarm settings, and alarm display. By installing this device near onboard equipment that tends to generate oil mist, such as oil tankers and chemical tankers, it is possible to detect oil mist early and prevent fires.

■Features

Oil mist concentration detection is performed using a light scattering method that uses infrared rays. The mist detection section uses a pulse drive method to achieve high sensitivity and fast response. In addition, as a measure to prevent oil mist contamination, the mist concentration detection section is protected with an oil cover.
