About This Product

■Summary

It was created to measure temperature using the Seebeck effect. Connect two types of metal, and use one of the connection points as a thermal junction and the other as a reference junction (output terminal side). When these two contact points are set to different temperatures, a thermoelectromotive force is generated that has a certain relationship with the temperature difference. Therefore, by keeping the reference junction at a constant temperature, it is possible to know the temperature of the hot junction. Thermocouples are sensors that utilize this principle, and are the only contact-type temperature sensors that can measure up to the highest temperatures.
