A speed controller that saves installation space. This is approximately a 45% reduction in volume compared to conventional speed controllers, and approximately 70% in volume compared to general inverters. MSC-1 mounts directly to 35mm wide DIN rail.
■Stable speed control is possible
MSC-1 uses closed-loop control, which reduces speed drop due to load fluctuations compared to open-loop control inverters. Additionally, by using CPU control for the control circuit, the speed fluctuation rate (relative to load) has been improved compared to conventional speed controllers. Therefore, more stable speed control is possible.
■The noise generated from the controller is reduced.
The inverter uses PWM control to control the motor rotation speed by controlling the magnitude and frequency of the voltage supplied to the motor. The speed controller controls the rotational speed of the motor by controlling the magnitude of the voltage supplied to the motor using a phase control method. The phase control method generates less noise because the supply voltage does not turn on and off frequently like an inverter.
■Compatible with single-phase 100-230V voltage specifications
MSC-1 can be used worldwide with multiple voltages ranging from single phase 100 to 230V.
■Motor control with output from 6W to 60W possible
Compatible with speed control motors with an output of 6W to 60W.
■Equipped with alarm output function
MSC-1 monitors the operating status of the motor. Outputs an alarm signal when the motor locks due to overload or abnormal heat generation, and stops power supply to the motor (natural stop). The motor can be restarted by turning on the alarm reset input. The alarm content can be identified by the number of LED blinks.
■Speed output function
Outputs a signal of 12 pulses per motor rotation in synchronization with motor operation. The motor rotation speed can be calculated from the frequency of this signal.
