■ Completely new concept

In the development of Galaxie®, we reviewed the concept of the drive system from the ground up. A new type of deceleration machine was born from it. The power is transmitted by multiple teeth by surface contact due to its own athletic. As a result, the Galaxie® hollow axis compact drive / deceleration has achieved the performance values ​​that were not considered in the past. This includes high torque density, high twist rigidity, smooth movement, positioning accuracy, and zero backlash operation.

■ From line contact to surface contact

At the center of the innovative technology of this new Galaxie® drive system is that power transmission is fully contacted. Therefore, the contact surface of the teeth is 6.5 times larger than the conventional in volute gear, which is a linear contact. We also use a completely new way of thinking about athleticiology. This deceleration machine is the only structure in the world, where many independent teashes move along the inner teeth of the ring gear. The contact teeth are molded in a logarithmic curve, which contacts the inner teeth of the ring gear in a large area and conveys the power.
