■CQZ & QSZ clip/anchor pin
・CQZ & QSZ clips are a unique mechanical fixing method developed by Alpha.
- Place the anchor pin on the board and use the Z-shaped clip to secure the heat sink. Alpha has multiple standard clips and anchor pins, allowing you to apply the appropriate load and pressure depending on your situation, such as board thickness and chip height.
■ Anchor pin (CNCR & ANCR) specifications
・When selecting an anchor pin, refer to the load of the clip and make sure that the appropriate load is applied.
- By inserting it all the way to the base, it will stay on the board without the need for soldering.
■Small installation area
・The hole on the board required for installing the anchor pin is very small as shown below.
・- CNCR anchor pin: diameter 1.5 +/-0.05mm
・-ANCR Anchor Pin: Diameter 1.8 +/-0.05mm
- Therefore, it is possible to minimize the area required for installing the heat sink and the impact on board design.
■Good workability
With conventional Z-shaped clips, it was necessary to move the heat sink and move the clip up and down to attach it to the anchor, which placed a burden on the operator and the thermal interface (TIM). CQZ & QSZ clips can be attached to the anchor by simply moving the clip from side to side without moving the heat sink, so it is easy to work with and there is no burden on the TIM.
■Preventing wrong assembly direction
By drilling additional holes in the heat sink, passing the anchor pin through, and securing with CQZ & QSZ clips, you can prevent the heat sink from being installed in the wrong direction. *Customization available.
■Tilt suppression effect
By drilling additional holes in the heat sink, passing anchor pins through them, and fixing them with CQZ & QSZ clips, the tilt of the heat sink during assembly is suppressed, and the stress (damage, chipping) on chips with small cores (bare-die) is suppressed. ) to a minimum. *Customization available.
