■Push pin

■How to install push pins

- Place the heat sink on the heat source, aligning the holes on the board and the heat sink and being careful not to damage the heat source. - Install using both hands (hold the heat sink with one hand and secure the push pin with the other hand). - While holding the heatsink with one hand to prevent it from tilting, use the other hand to push the push pin until it penetrates the board. At this time, be careful not to apply excessive load to compress the spring too much or damage the heat source. Attach the push pins one by one. ・If there are two or more push pins, install them in diagonal order.

■How to remove the push pin

・In order to remove the push pin, it is necessary to access the back side of the board by removing it from the housing if necessary. ・While gently pulling the push pin from the front side of the board, pinch the tip of the push pin on the back side of the board to squeeze it. It is easier to work with small pliers, but be careful not to damage the board. ・We recommend that you do not reuse the removed push pins as they may be deformed. Alpha also sells push pins individually.
