About This Product
Shrink tubing is a polyvinyl chloride product that shrinks when heated. It has excellent weather and water resistance, and protects areas that are prone to rust, such as the ground level of pipe houses. Black is usually a standard product, and silver and yellow require lots.
How to use shrink tubing
■STEP1 Remove dirt from the surface
First, wipe the pipe surface to remove dirt and debris.
■STEP2 Insert the tube
Insert the pipe all the way into the shrink tube. You can also cut and adjust the length.
■STEP3 Apply hot air
Hot air is applied from the tip to push the air inside to the outside. Be careful not to get burned.
■STEP4 Completion
Once the tube is firmly attached to the pipe, it is completed. In addition to hot air, there is also a method of soaking in hot water.
