■TORX®/TORX PLUS®
TORX® features a 6-lobed petal shape that pursues torque transmission efficiency in the recess during screwing. TORX PLUS® further stabilizes and improves torque transmission efficiency by expanding the contact area with the tool. As a result, tool life can be expected to be approximately 5 times longer. The unevenness of the petal shape has become gentler, improving the speed of engagement with tools.
Since local damage and deformation of the contact area has been eliminated, the generation of chips has become extremely close to zero. It is also widely used as a combination product with other licensed products.
The wide variety includes "Autosert" for automatic assembly of robots, etc., "Tamper Resistant" with five lobes and a protrusion in the center to prevent tampering, and "Low Head Torx Plus" which is ideal for locations with height restrictions.
