About This Product

■Low pass filter

Four types of filters are standardized for use in waveguide circuits: low-pass type, high-power absorption type, band-pass type, and duplexer, but other specifications are manufactured to order. We will accept your request. The low-pass type is a so-called waffle-iron type, which has small insertion loss within the passband, but exhibits large attenuation when passing higher frequency bands, making it effective for removing high-order harmonics. The high-power absorption type is a low-pass filter that has many coupling holes in the waveguide wall and guides harmonic components to the secondary circuit, absorbing and attenuating them. A bandpass filter allows the desired frequency band to pass, but exhibits large attenuation for the frequency bands above and below it. A splitter functions to separate signals in two frequency bands that are transmitted within the same waveguide, and conversely, to collect and combine signals in two frequency bands into a single waveguide.

■High power absorption filter (harmonic filter)

This device is a filter manufactured for the purpose of removing harmonics from high power ground station transmitters such as satellite communications and broadcasting satellites.
