About This Product

This device moves the resistor installed inside the waveguide, causing the resistor to absorb a portion of the passing power, thereby attenuating the microwave power passing through it. The two types are the vane type, which provides attenuation by moving a resistor placed parallel to the electric field inside the rectangular waveguide, and the vane type, which provides attenuation by moving a resistor placed parallel to the electric field inside the rectangular waveguide. There are two types: a flap type or guillotine type in which a resistor plate is inserted, and a rotary type variable resistance attenuator in which a resistor is fixed in a H11 mode circular waveguide and rotated around the tube axis to provide attenuation. In addition, the high power variable attenuator changes the power to the output end by operating the hybrid coupler and dual type short circuit.
