About This Product

This is an antenna monitoring device that monitors the VSWR and DCR (direct current resistance) of the transmitter feeder line and antenna system. SAM-T20D supports terrestrial digital broadcasting, and SAM-T20FM supports FM broadcasting.

The traveling wave/reflected wave detection signal for VSWR measurement and the signal for DCR measurement input from the coupler attached to the feeder line or antenna system are constantly monitored while the transmitter is operating, and the measured values ​​are displayed. When the value exceeds the alarm set value, an alarm signal is output to the outside. Furthermore, compared to the conventional SAM-200D and SAM-200FM, it has reduced functionality and is lower in price, making it suitable for antenna monitoring at small-scale stations.

■Features・Automatically measures 1 system of VSWR and 1 system of DCR and monitors it 24 hours a day.
・One VSWR system can monitor 2 channels. (For SAM-T20D)
・It is possible to monitor the level of traveling waves and output a warning when waves stop.
・Since the VSWR measurement system has a built-in tuner, there is no need to prepare a bandpass filter for each measurement frequency.
- Equipped with a VSWR calibration function to correct the coupling degree error of the coupler and the insertion loss of the measurement cable.
- Equipped with a DCR calibration function to cancel the resistance value of the measurement cable.
- Equipped with VSWR and DCR analog outputs, allowing continuous recording with an external recording device (recorder, etc.).
-Low price compared to conventional antenna monitoring equipment.
