About This Product

Qnac® is a conductive yarn made by coating the surface of polyester fibers with carbon nanotubes using a unique technology. It is lightweight and highly flexible, and has excellent properties such as high conductivity and ability to absorb electromagnetic waves.

■Full surface conductive

Because the surface of each single multifilament thread is coated with carbon nanotubes, the network remains intact even when the thread expands and contracts, demonstrating high conductivity.

■Electrical resistance value can be set arbitrarily

Qnac−T: 35kΩ/m~, Qnac−S: 35Ω/m~, various resistance values ​​can be ordered.

■Even electrical resistance value

Using our unique carbon nanotube print coating technology (received the 4th Monozukuri Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award), we have achieved uniform coating of carbon nanotubes on polyester multifilament yarn. This achieves a stable electrical resistance value with no unevenness in the length direction.

■High durability/bending fatigue resistance

Even when stretched and deformed, there is very little change in electrical resistance and it continues to maintain its durability. The base material, carbon nanotube coated polyester multifilament thread, has better bending fatigue resistance than carbon fiber or metal wire.

■Lightweight and flexible

Significant weight reduction compared to metal wire. Soft texture.

■Immediate heat, instant heat, temperature stability

Due to the high heat generation efficiency and high thermal conductivity unique to carbon nanotubes, the time from energization to heat generation is extremely quick. Additionally, since there is little change in resistance due to heat, it is possible to maintain a stable temperature.
