About This Product

It is a chip boiler with an output of 30 to 120kW, and two or more units can be connected at the same time. It can meet the heat demand equivalent to 5,000 to 300,000 L of oil consumption, such as hot springs, hotels, pools, offices, schools, welfare facilities, and district heat supply. Compatible with a variety of fuels, including chips with a high rate of bark contamination.

■Fuel supply device

Robust design suitable for chip transport. The chip fuel supply system uses a 400V motor to stably supply chips and minimize problems such as fuel clogging. Additionally, the diameter of the turntable installed in the silo can range from 2,500 to 5,500mm, and by connecting two fuel supply devices, it is also possible to use two boilers in one silo.

■Boiler operation/remote control system

Comfort4 with Japanese support, remote control system, and multiple unit operation. Boiler operation, heat supply temperature, time, operation settings, etc. are controlled by KWB's control system "Comfort". By connecting the control expansion module to the boiler, you can operate multiple units and also control the start and stop of backup boilers. Additionally, by connecting to the Internet, you can use the management software ``Comfort Online,'' which allows you to remotely control your boiler and check its operating status from your computer or smartphone.

■Boiler output and fuel chip

Importance of chip shape, moisture, and quality control. The water content (WB) of the cutting tip used with KWB MULTIFIRE can be up to 40%. However, we recommend that you drain the chips as much as possible before use. Recommended moisture content is 30% or less. Tests conducted by KWB have shown that high moisture content not only lowers the energy content, but also reduces the efficiency of the boiler itself. In other words, if chips with high moisture content are used, a large amount of fuel will be consumed, which will not reduce running costs and make it impossible to take advantage of the advantages of biomass.

■Biomass heat utilization system/scope of equipment provided

Providing boilers and equipment for appropriate biomass heat utilization. In order to properly utilize heat from wood biomass, it is important to use equipment and systems that match the characteristics.
