About This Product
This is a handy measuring device that combines a black bulb thermometer, thermometer, and hygrometer and can measure the WBGT index, which is used as a guideline for preventing heat stroke and evaluating heat stress in the working environment. This product complies with JIS B 7922:2023 Class 2.
Features
■JIS B 7922:2023 Class 2 compliant
Electronic Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) Index Meter Conforms to JIS B 7922:2023 Class 2. It can be used as a guide to prevent heatstroke during sports activities, daily life, and work.
■With black ball
You can measure the radiant heat (black bulb temperature) caused by direct sunlight.
■Displays WBGT index, temperature, black bulb temperature, and humidity
This product displays temperature, black bulb temperature, and humidity in addition to the WBGT index, so it can be used for various purposes.
■With screw hole for fixing tripod
This instrument has a screw hole that allows it to be fixed to a camera tripod, making it convenient for installation during measurement.
■WBGT measurement environment (IN/OUT) settings
The calculation formula for the WBGT index is different for indoor and outdoor measurements. This product can switch between indoor measurement (IN) and outdoor measurement (OUT).
■Wind speed setting
The WBGT index and black sphere temperature vary depending on the wind speed in your environment. The product has the ability to input wind speed values and display the corrected WBGT index and black globe temperature.
■HOLD function
Comes with a HOLD function, which is convenient when reading measured values.
■Highest value (MAX)/lowest value (MIN) display function
Equipped with high value (MAX) / minimum value (MIN) display function. Convenient for monitoring during measurement.
■Alarm function
You can set alarms for the WBGT index. If the set WBGT index is exceeded, a buzzer will sound to notify you.
■Auto power off function
Equipped with an auto power off function (approximately 20 minutes) to prevent unnecessary battery consumption due to forgetting to turn off the power.
■RS-232C communication
By using the optional RS-232C connection cable, current measured values can be sent to a computer in real time.
■Handy type
Handy type and convenient to carry. Comes with a hard case perfect for storage and storage.
■With guide sticker
We have made a guide sticker based on the WBGT index guidelines for preventing heatstroke. Please choose from 3 types depending on your intended use and attach it to the front of the main unit (below the key).
