■Summary

The WS-GP2 weather station is an ideal system for research and environmental monitoring applications in remote and exposed locations using the versatile GP2 data logger. Choose the best combination of sensors, loggers, power, and communications. Features

■Sensor

The standard WS-GP2 includes sensors that measure rain, solar radiation, soil temperature, wind speed and direction, relative humidity, and air temperature.

■Flexibility

GP2 data loggers have the power and flexibility to handle almost any environmental sensor. This means that the WS-GP2 weather station can be as simple or complex as your application requires. Even after delivery, you can easily adapt the system to your specific needs. Optional sensors include barometric pressure, soil moisture, soil EC, UV, PAR, albedo, net radiation, total and diffuse radiation, and evaporation.

■Data collection

Data can easily be collected remotely on a laptop via USB or using a cellular modem option. DeltaLINK software allows you to easily set recording intervals, view and download stored data. Data display options include wind rose, gusts, and averages (including direction and vector averages).

■SDI-12

GP2 data logger supports SDI-12 input. GP2s delivered before March 2016 can be easily updated via software download. ・Strong, sturdy and highly flexible weather station ・Designed for use under harsh weather conditions ・Wide selection of sensors including soil moisture ・Cellular modem communication ・Compatible with DeltaLINK - cloud online data sharing platform ・Penman-Monteith style
