■Summary
CL-01 Chlorophyll Content Measurement System measures the relative chlorophyll content of leaves. Measurement of chlorophyll content provides an indication of photosynthetic activity related to the nitrogen concentration of the sample. This is particularly important in plant growth programs where the effects of nitrogen addition on crops are carefully monitored.
This portable instrument measures the absorbance of leaf samples at two wavelengths (620nm and 940nm) to determine relative chlorophyll content. Relative chlorophyll content is displayed in a range of 0 to 2,000 units. CL-01 can be easily operated using two buttons. Measurements take less than 0.5 seconds and can save up to 60 measurements, which can be checked individually or displayed as an average value. Leaf sample width up to 127mm (5 inches).
The CL-01 is self-calibrating and all measurements are temperature compensated to take into account changes in ambient temperature between measurements. The built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery pack provides up to 75 hours of operation, and charging time is approximately 4 hours using the included 12DC main battery charger.
