About This Product

■Summary The dual modulation chlorophyll fluorescence meter FL6000 is a device that measures chlorophyll alpha (Chlα) -fluorescence. The measured fluorescence is excited by a light emitting diode that generates a few microsecond measurement flashes and is measured by a single turnover flash or continuous light irradiation. Chlorophyll fluorescence is detected with a PIN photodiode and digitized with a 16-bit A/D converter. The instrument supports pulse amplitude modulation measurements and can simultaneously capture fast OJIP transients and perform fast measurements of QA-redox kinetics and S-states. The fast version of the FL 6000-F allows measurements for flash fluorescence induction (FFI) experiments, leading to calculations of effective antenna size, antenna connectivity, and fast light curves. A key feature of this fluorometer is the ability to generate very high output rectangular actinic flashes using a 620 nm excitation light source. This feature is useful for measuring cyanobacteria. Complete reduction of the QA acceptor is achieved within 25 μs, and fluorescence induction during such a one-turn saturation flash can be measured. This technique can measure the effective antenna size of photosystem II as well as its heterogeneity and connectivity without disturbing the measurement system with herbicides such as DCMU. ■Features - Excited by built-in LED. - Chlorophyll fluorescence is detected by a PIN photodiode and digitized by an A/D converter. - OJIP's high-speed kinetics measurement and flash fluorescence excitation can be linked with PAM. ・In addition to red and blue, the built-in LED can also support near-infrared light as an option. ・FL6000=E-FL6000 ・Measures Chl-fluorescence signals with a time resolution of 4μs for the standard type and 1μs for the fast type ・Converter gain and integration time are controlled by software - Compatible with various analyzes using analysis software (fluorescence induction, PAM, observation of rapid OJIP transient reactions, state transition, Quenching parameters, etc.) ・Sample cuvette capacity is 4ml ・LED light, PIN detector (with 690-730nm bandpass filter)
