About This Product

■Summary

The LD1/2 type leaf disc electrode chamber is a simple device for measuring oxygen exchange by placing a 10cm2 leaf disc in an airtight chamber. LD1/2 is made of black acetal with an acrylic top window and uses an LH36/2R LED light source (when connected to an Oxylab electrode control unit) or LS2 high-intensity white light source to uniformly illuminate the sample for photosynthesis measurements. It is possible to.

■S1 electrode disk installation in electrode chamber

Before installing the electrode disc into the chamber, the electrode disc must be properly prepared according to the guidelines listed in the Electrode Preparation section. Once the disc is prepared and properly tested, it is ready to be placed in the electrode chamber. Remove the base ring from the electrode chamber and place the prepared electrode disc on top. Insert the base ring and disc into the underside of the electrode chamber body so that the electrode cable connection fits into the groove in the electrode chamber's base thread. While screwing the base ring into the electrode chamber, hold the base gently and tighten just slightly tight. It is important not to overtighten the base ring as this will cause the membrane to stretch over the electrode dome. During measurement, if the membrane starts to loosen, the measurement signal will drift. Ensure that the electrode remains polarized to prevent it from drying out while making other preparations before measurements.
