■Others

The OL440-8-OH integrating sphere type ultraviolet standard light source is a light source with a large area, uniform, and diffused radiation, and can be used by varying the radiance value in the UV region. The OL440-8-OH consists of an air-cooled light source housing with a built-in deuterium lamp and an 8-inch (φ20cm) diameter integrating sphere coated with pressed PTFE. There is a 1-inch diameter input port between the deuterium lamp and the integrating sphere, and by changing the aperture with a micrometer, the intensity can be adjusted between the corresponding wavelength range (200-400 nm). A baffle built into the center of the integrating sphere ensures uniformity of the emitted light inside the sphere. A high-precision UV-compatible silicon receiver is attached to the side of the integrating sphere to monitor the intensity of the light source. Use a radiometer such as the OL730C Programmable Radiometer/Photometer to measure the current in a UV-compatible silicon receiver and read the integrated radiance value. A shutter is located between the deuterium lamp and the input port of the integrating sphere, allowing the UV-compatible silicon receiver to zero readings without turning off the deuterium lamp.
