About This Product

During humid periods such as summer, water mixes with the compressed air from the air compressor. This is because the compressed hot air is cooled and turns into water inside the pipes. A large amount of water may spout from end equipment such as air guns. A refrigerated air dryer efficiently removes this moisture. Basically, it should be selected according to the horsepower of the air compressor, but it is also possible to choose according to the air consumption of the terminal equipment. However, it is generally safe to choose a slightly larger size. If an air dryer is placed in a narrow space or in a poor installation environment, its performance will decrease in a short period of time. Please use it in an appropriate installation environment. There are two types of refrigeration air dryers: regular type and high temperature intake type. Air processing temperature is 60℃ for normal type and 80℃ for high temperature intake type. The high temperature intake type is equipped with an aftercooler to reliably remove moisture. We recommend the high temperature intake type for harsh usage environments. Made by Nippon Seiki, no condensation at atmospheric pressure up to -17℃. Summer is the highest temperature of the year. However, water tends to come out when there is a temperature difference between the inside of the hose and the outside temperature. (around May and around September) If the inlet air temperature exceeds 60 degrees Celsius due to continuous operation of the compressor during the summer, etc., a "high pressure cut" occurs due to abnormal refrigerant gas pressure, causing the dryer to stop. (The button can be reset after cooling.) Since the dryer will not cool while it is stopped, water will be mixed in. Be sure to select a high-temperature intake type for continuous non-stop operation of the compressor. (High-pressure cut is a safety device for the dryer. It protects the main unit from high temperature heating.) Refrigerated air dryers require regular maintenance. It is not good to leave dirt on the ventilation openings. Please clean it occasionally. Performance will improve significantly. Performance cannot be achieved in a narrow room with poor ventilation or in a place with high temperatures of 40 degrees or higher. The life of the dryer will also be shortened. Compressor and refrigeration air dryer piping must be done properly. Iron pipes can be used for indoor piping, but it is not recommended to connect the compressor and dryer with iron pipes. A flexible one that can absorb vibrations is best. The manufacturer recommends connecting with a heat-resistant rubber hose.
